The G.R.E.A.T. Program (Gang Resistance Education And Training) is a nationally recognized prevention program designed to help youth develop the skills they need to avoid gang involvement and make positive life choices.
Spectrum Health Solutions partners with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to provide youth with education and guidance focused on violence prevention, decision-making, and building healthy relationships.
The program helps youth learn how to:
• Resist negative peer pressure
• Develop positive decision-making skills
• Build healthy relationships
• Strengthen communication skills
• Avoid gang involvement and risky behaviors
The G.R.E.A.T. Program focuses on helping youth build the skills and confidence necessary to make positive choices and avoid involvement in gangs and other risky behaviors.
Through education, mentorship, and skill development, the program encourages youth to develop leadership, responsibility, and respect for their communities.
