Justice Flynn Substance Use Program
The Justice Flynn Substance Use Program at Spectrum Health Solutions was established in memory of Justice Flynn, whose life journey deeply impacted those around him. Justice experienced long-term challenges related to substance use, reflecting the complex realities many individuals and families face when navigating substance use disorders. In 2025, Justice passed away at the age of 32 after a battle with cancer. His story serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of accessible, compassionate, and effective substance use services.
In honor of Justice, Spectrum Health Solutions developed this program to expand access to substance use support within the communities we serve. The program begins with comprehensive substance use evaluations designed to assess individual needs, identify the presence and severity of substance use concerns, and provide informed recommendations for appropriate services.
Through these evaluations, Spectrum Health Solutions aims to support early identification, informed care planning, and connection to appropriate levels of care. As the program continues to grow, our long-term vision is to expand services to include treatment and recovery support options, strengthening the continuum of care available to individuals and families affected by substance use.
The Justice Flynn Substance Use Program stands as a commitment to transform loss into purpose—honoring Justice’s life by expanding access to support, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for recovery for those who need it most.
